Although I love visiting Izmir's villages famous for their natural food and friendly people, its clean and lively beaches, and unique historical places such as Ephesus and Virgin Mary, I cannot give up the city center. In Izmir, which changes a little more every time I go, I can't wait to discover the latest new generation cafes, fish restaurants that blend seafood with unique greens, and bars famous for their delicious cocktails.

Of course, my must-have; delicious kumru, boyoz and delicious mussels bought from street vendors... I'm sure that I will miss this sweet city, famous for its unique food, people and lifestyle, on my next weekend getaway to Izmir.
